The Ukiyo theme manifested when we were on a mission to qualify emptiness and re-define space using unobstructed yet significant structures. Drawing inspiration from tree hollows that represent a naturally occurring resource for animals to take shelter, the Ukiyo theme seeks to incorporate this facet of nature into the furniture.
